If you would like to request deletion ofdelete your trap.nzTrap.NZ account, please emailfollow [email protected]these steps:

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Send a support ticket
  2. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line
  3. Confirm your identity when we reply (for security purposes, we may ask verification questions)
  4. Your account will be permanently deleted once your identity is confirmed

Important: For security and privacy reasons, deletion requests must come from the email address associated with your Trap.NZ account.

To maintain the integrity of shared conservation projects and comply with our system.data obligations, the following data is retained:

  • Trap records, catch data, and installation information you contributed to shared projects (this data becomes anonymous and remains associated with the project)
  • Aggregated, de-identified data used for conservation reporting and analysis

After deletion has been completed,deletion, your Trap.NZ account will no longer be accessible.accessible and cannot be recovered.
