Moving an installation

In order to move aan stationinstallation you must have either:

  • been the one who added the stationinstallation to the project, or
  • have either a manager or administrator role

Moving a trap or station that already has records associated with it

If you are physically moving aan trap or stationinstallation that already has records associated with it,it, best practice is to “retire” the stationinstallation and create a new one in the new location. This keeps old records correctly associated with the old location.



If you wish, you can create the new stationinstallation with the same name.

The retired locations can be viewed by setting the "retired" filter in map views and reports.


Moving a trap or station that has been incorrectly located on the project map

If a station is incorrectly located on your project map (or you want to adjust the location for another reason):

  1. Select the trap you want to relocate
  2. Click "Edit"
  3. Click the point icon on the map point graphic 
  4. Click the new location on the map to replace the old one (or you can enter the manual coordinates in the field below the map)
  5. Click the green "Save" button to save your changes
