Overview
This document serves as a straightforward guideline for Administrators of Trap.nz projects, particularly for small organisations without dedicated privacy officers or training facilities. By signing below, Administrators acknowledge their understanding and commitment to these guidelines. This is in addition to and in no way replaces adherence to the NZ Privacy Act 2020.
Guidelines
1. Responsibilities of Administrators

Treat all personal data with respect and confidentiality.

Use data only for specific project-related purposes and support.
2. Data Access and Use

Access only the data you need for your role.

Do not share your login credentials or allow unauthorised access.

Do not share members' private information without express permission (including personal catch records or tallies.)
3. Data Protection Measures

Use strong, unique passwords and change them regularly.

Notify the primary Administrator of any suspected data breaches or unauthorised access.
4. Reporting and Collaboration

Communicate openly with the primary Administrator regarding any data privacy concerns or incidents.

Work collaboratively to ensure that all team members understand the importance of data protection.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Administrator Data Privacy and Accountability Guidelines. I agree to comply with these guidelines and recognise that failure to do so may result in the revocation of my Administrator access.
